Smuggler's Paths & The Pirate Coast A rare walking holiday that combines Andalucia’s finest mountain and open air sea-based walks including the many cultural attractions in between For 5 seasons, Smugglers has been our classic walking holiday and now it’s even better! We’ve taken the best of our inland walks through rural Andalucia and the charming white villages and added three days of Atlantic seaside walks along the historic Pirate Coast. The result is a splendid mix of cultural highlights and inspiring landscapes anytime of the year. Best of all, we’ve increased our knowledge base and have put more into our flora/fauna, history, culture and culinary attractions on this tour – Smugglers is more than just a walking holiday!

The Alpujarras & Mystical Granada A superb combo – gentle rural walks in the last Moorish outpost then a prodigious assault on mystical Granada and the Romance of the Alhambra, Flamenco, tapas cuisine and the Sierra Nevada Granada and the Alpujarra Valley are only a few hours from Malaga yet they represent a symbolic bridge to the West’s Imperialistic past and more so, the orient itself. Walking as our medium, we embark on an historic adventure across Himalayan esque mountainsides, terraced slopes, deep ravines and into tiny hamlets where fresh springs still channel down village lanes. After 4 mountain days we descend to Granada itself for a cultural initiation of a different sort with guided tours of the Albaizan Quarter, the Flamenco district and the Alhambra Palace itself. We complete the week with a further exploration on foot of the Sierra Nevada range from the village of Guejar Sierra.

Andalucia To Moorish Morocco This unique Walking and Site Seeing Adventure in both Europe and Africa is possible with Adventurebug. This week combines gentle day walks and cultural insight in both Andalucia’s southern parks and lovely Atlantic Coast with the rugged exoticness of North Morocco’s Rift Mountain Berber villages. A hassle free week of sensational travel to two completely different worlds! Adventurebug has been travelling in North Africa for 5 years. We know the Rift Mountains well and have experienced Berber Tribesmen as our fellow guides. This walking program is open to all levels of experience and interest and will definitely have an impact on your senses!
