Hostal el Anon
Jimena de la Frontera

OVERVIEW

anon sign board"Hostal el Anon" is a hidden gem of a place to stay, full of charming little courtyards and vine-shaded terraces. And all this is in the middle of this charming Moorish town, with cobbled streets and hanging geranium baskets from every window. Other bonuses included a roof-top swimming pool, perfect to cool off in after a long day on the trail, and a sun-terrace with magnificent views over the hills and valleys of the surrounding countryside.
As another plus, the hostal is owned and run by an American who settled in Andalucia 24 years ago. Her knowledge of the area is extensive and she is a mine of information on the local flora and fauna.

"Hostal el Anon", has twelve charming bedrooms each with en-suite bathrooms
. The hostal restaurant offers delicious home cooked food served by the friendly local staff, in a relaxed atmosphere, with a typical Andalucían menu to help restore energy to aching limbs.  And the continental breakfast on the terrace is the perfect start before heading off into the wilds again.
